Why do you still have lower back pain?

Since 80% of the adult population have lower back pain, I will be blogging/emailing about issues that are rarely discussed that affects lower back pain.

How about smart phones. Many years ago “present time consciousness” was in vogue. Actually, it had some real value. It’s been replaced with the multitasking badge of honor. With the increased use of snart phones, stress and dear I say fear is added to multitasking. The fact is that our brain can only process one thing at a time. You might be saying my brain can handle many things at once. Sorry to say that you will be absolutely wrong. Smart phone multitasking produces stress in our brain that you may not realize. You might be asking how this affects my lower back pain. You have to think of your body in a holistic manner. The constant flow of information, good and bad, causes us to be in a flight or fight situation as well as taxing our
brain in many ways. This impacts directly on our immune system. The immune system is responsible for reducing inflammation and healing in every organ system in our body- including our lower back. How do you think this affects growing brains?

At least one year ago, I saw her mother with her baby in the stroller, it was a beautiful day. She had earbuds in, looking at her cell phone. One hand on the baby stroller another holding a mocha latte. Actually I don’t know what type of drink she was holding. This infuriated me. I let the pictures do the talking.

“I fear the day that technology will surpass our human interaction. The world will have a generation of idiots”. Albert Einstein
